This was the most exciting knock-out quali.
And What dirty tactics from McLaren, keeping Lewis in so that they can release him in the path of Massa and hold him up a bit. I am happy it backfired for them and Massa got pole.
I set my alarm but it didn't wake me up, so I guess it's lucky I set the DVD recorder on the timer!
I didn't think too much of the qualifying session itself, but it was ok I guess.
DC and Barrichello have got to start from the back row of the grid for the race for using different engines during quali, to the ones they used in Australia.

Webber in the top ten again, (10th)
Yes, Webber has the upper hand on DC at the moment. Good effort from Rosberg, too.
Well DC was only a few hundeds of a sec slower than Mark and a couple of spots lower on the grid. A lot depends on how they are fuelled.
Indeed a great effort from Nico..... what went wrong with Wurz though? Not to mebtion the Renaults who seemed fortunate to not be eliminated in stage 1, along with Rubens. It would seem that Honda have produced a bigger donkey than Toyota this year.
It will be interesting to see how the first stops pan out, more in terms of between the teamates than the teams though. God I wish we had a non strategy related (ie free to run Q2 type low fuel loads) qualifying....
Just a reminder to my fellow Aussie residents that Qualy will be shown on TEN at 11pm tonight Melbourne time.

If he doesn't pull it off it will be Kimi.
He does have alot of similar quality's as Francois..............Your right about that. I see like Ive said before He and Kimi being very hard to beat as a team this year and for a while yet. Its Sir Jackie and Francois all over again.

I think both the Ferrari's are lower on fuel, and i think they will pit between lap 15 and 18. Massa is only 0.6s slower in Q3 compared with Q2. Kimi is only 0.8s slower.
When you look at the times of Alonso and Hamilton, there gap is more than a second. 1.3s and 1.6s.
