As caneparo said, it is the 23rd Anniversary of Mike Hailwood's unfortunate and untimely death in a road accident.

I found this article a few weeks ago, written by a close friend of Mike's. I found it very interesting and really touching towards the end.

Please take some time to read it:

Thanks

R.I.P., Mike. :(

I don't know what to say about this article. My eyes are full of tears, at the moment. What a heart-wrenching story. I'd heard of Mike many times and knew he was "excellent" on a bike and quite good in a car, but not much more. This story was simply, amazing. Thanks for showing us, Paul.

Play on, Mike.
What if?

I'd still remember that my mother was schocked when hearing of his death. Mike the Bike.. I was still too young to understand.

Good story. Makes you wander..
