What fresh hell is this? Miami track and a Sprint race. Ugh!

Well, we should know enough about the track from the last 2 years. Now add a sprint. Again FP2 is non-existant for the Sprint Qualy. And we get our regular race qualification session at the normal time. But unless we get some weather intervening, we can expect a processional Sprint on Saturday morning.

And again, since its Florida in the spring, keep an eye on the weather!!

I got it badly wrong. Monte wins (again?) Half a second slower than last years pole. Good guess anyway. Well done @MonteCristo. :bow:

This is weird. Last year's pole time was 1.26.841. Weather was the low 80s then and was today. Yet they are slower (1:27.241) by 0.400 seconds. Why is that?

Last year there was no sprint race and instead we had more practice. More time for set up changes. Then there was an accident in thr Porsche race and the track was slippery at the atart of qualifying.
