GTP 2024 Round 5 - China [+RESULTS]

Wow! We have not been to China since 2019. Back then it was all about if Sebastian Vettel in the Ferrari could catch Hamilton.
More of the same, but different names... Now it's if Sainz or LeClerc (still Ferrari) can catch Verstappen (RB) or not.

The very twisty and technical nature of this track may produce some surprize results as we don't have the sweeping corners that both the RB and the Ferrari are best at. But then again, it's hard to keep a good car and a good driver down. So I would also not be surprized if we get a RB 1-2 for the pole.

In either case, brace yourself because THIS IS THE FIRST SPRINT RACE OF THE YEAR!

However, the new saving grace is, this is also the first of the new Sprint formats with Sprint Qualy instead of FP2 and Race Qualy late on Saturday after the Sprint! Therefore the Race Qualification session that counts toward GTP will be on the usual day and at the usual time (Saturday 20 April at 3:00 PM China track time).

And lastly, in case you aren't thinking in that direction, please remeber this is an Asian race. The deadline for guesses will be Late Thursday night/Early Friday morning.
