Do we need to have a poll to see whether Sauber have another difficult race in pitlane with their misbehaving wheel nuts. We know they dont yet have a permanent fix so one would imaginrewith a two stop race expected it will go wrong for them at some stage this afternoon. Their fail rate has been high to date.

So the first 4 starting on mediums, Nando on Soft then mediums 6th down to 11th with the rest starting on hard rubber except I think Stroll on soft.

Albon is ok, but hopefully the car is ok as well given their chassis situation.

Looks like Danny Ric got a bad start and a fast starting Albon got squeezed by Danny Ric who had a lack of peripheral vision. They are calling it a racing incident but to me its more down to Danny moving across to where Albon already was. Apparently others have said Danny was looking to his left and just moved right.

Anyway it will be a bit of a delay for barrier repairs.

Will that have some cars changing strategies under the red. Certainly those stat started on softs

So Yuki beats Danny in qualy and race again. Not the thing that Danny wanted given the discussions over his future, especially as it look to have been more his fault than anyone else. Of course miigation for it being lap 1 but still....

I guess it will be a standing start again..

Lewis has gone for the hard rubber for the restart, and may pay benefits if he doesnt lose too much at the restart. George as well. a few of the midfield have gone for softs.

Lewis and George have both lost a place, Yuki splits them, then eorge gets him back to go 9th behind Lewis.

Max is out of DRS from Sergio who is also clear of Lando.

Whoops Sergio goes wide but no real drama or place loss.

Sauber have had their first stop for Bottas and it was only 8 seconds, so very slow by the norm but quick for them to have a stop under 30 seconds!

Tsunoda has also stopped to swap softs for hard. He drops to 16th.
KMag up to 12th.
