Alonso's decision interjected substantial clarity into driver market at the top of the grid, yet some people are still uncertain what Max will do. Occam's razor theory suggests he will continue with RBR, yet why am I not convinced 100% about that? He strikes me as a person unburdened by politics, just faithful to principles of loyality, and fast cars. Mercedes would like to have him, and whether they just dreaming remains to be seen. There is nothing else for the champ. Retirement? No. Audi? Not yet. Mercedes? Who knows. RBR? For now, yes. Strangely enough, CH continues block him from all important development meetings, which implies that Max, despite his various public statement, has not officially dropped on his knees at the lord's office, beg for forgiveness, forgetting to kiss the ring. RBR needs confirmation what he decided regarding his contract,

Carlos has his life on hold as Max is pondering his future. I am hoping (with Nico) to see him on my side. Right now realistically it's Mercedes or Audi for him. Not much else.

That text message photo was either Horner's finger, or him cock-blocking Max out of meetings.

Jury is still out.

Do you mean like forensic evidence which can withstand prosecutorial attack? BTW, why and for whom do you think Toto is waiting?

MAX VERSTAPPEN FROZEN OUT OF RB MEETINGS WHILE THREAT OF LEAVING REMAINS
March 12, 2024 · by thejudge13 · in Daily F1 News and Comment. ·

No Formula One driver understands how the 20,000 or so parts of a car are designed and engineered by a team of 100’s of technical wizards. Yet their feedback on how the car feels when on track is vital to the technical team for their ongoing development of the platform from the fundamental design.

During this information sharing, certain drivers do grasp how parts of the the physical structure are creating problems they encounter and as Lewis Hamilton has demonstrated are able to discuss this when doing media interviews.

Regarding "terrible source", that's not what Xcraig X said (about The Judge 13).

Besides, restrictions of a kind described in the linked article are common practice. I have seen this play before several times. I am sure it will be announced on the front pages of F1 media what Max decided about his contract. After that Max will be re-integrated with the team (if he stays).

I am assuming further that CH has an interest to keep it all under the lid and pretend there never was doubt about direction Max will travel.

As for Sainz, he still has an outside shot at a Red Bull or Mercedes seat, but neither appears more likely than an Audi-owned Sauber future for the 29-year-old.

With his performance, Carlos is the one who is wanted right now, believes Spanish F1 commentator Antonio Lobato, speaking to DAZN. Any team wants him, so now it's Carlos' decision to choose the best team from among them.

Spanish former racing driver Andy Soucek told Marca: He deserves a place in a leading team and the entire grid knows it. And I have no doubt that it will be so.

However, Red Bull and Mercedes are not rushing. Everyone is waiting to see what Max Verstappen does, surmises Michael Schmidt, a top journalist for Auto Motor und Sport.
