I have been drifting in and out of the forum in the past year and a half, due to work commitments and a new house, but I keep coming back to the forum since this is a place with plenty of knowledgeable people and also interesting points of discussion. Long may it continue!

Nothing special planned unfortunately, except to celebrate the fact we're still bloody here. Actually The Fastlane empire has been quietly expanding but not necessary with the benefit of this forum.

Think that's about 18 years on the site for me. I was definitely on here 16 years ago, and am pretty sure it was a couple of years earlier than that...

I can still remember those days. Me and @PTRACER taking part in various (very ropy, early-days) online races on GPL and the like over at 'The Other PlaceTM'. I've drifted away from general forum use over the years - life's taken me different places and I just don't have the same time as I used to. Miss those days in some respects!
I still plan on sticking around and popping in now and again because it's still fun to chat about motorsport as it meanders itself around the globe each year. Here's to another twenty years!
Wow, 20 years ! Congratulations with this milestone, cause it really is ! Think of a website from early 2000 that is still relevant and online? Not many that you can think of, isn't? I think I signed up for this forum at some point, but certainly when we merged with Farzad's forum; when was that? I never saw him around, that is a pity. It might be that that is why I am not posting a lot, but still I know that when I like to have an objective view of events I can consult the forum over here. And also if I am in need of understanding an accident (recent of from the past) I know where to consult.

Thanks Arthur! I remember the logo - it was designed by P34 (Sergey, from Ukraine). We planned to have a website showing off all our video captures like TBK, but then other sites started receiving takedown notices so we abandoned the idea.
The merger with Farzad's was perhaps in 2016 or 2017? I think their forum only had around 5-10 regular posters at the time - many of them signed up here but only a few of them are left. I have no idea what happened to Farzad himself.
