2023 North West 200

After a lot of ifs and buts over the winter, it is finally race week! Weather is sketchy, but practice is due to commence tomorrow.

NW200 - first practice Tuesday 9th - 9.15am - 3.15pm.
Second practice session: Thursday 11th (9.15am - 3.15pm)
Thursday 11th race schedule (times weather dependant!)
Race 1: Supersport (6 laps) - 17.45 hrs
Race 2: Superstock (6 laps) - 18.30 hrs
Race 3: Supertwins (4 laps) - 19.15 hrs
Saturday 13th Race Day - schedule 9.15am - 9.00pm (if required due to weather)
Race 1: Supersport (6 laps) - 10.00 hrs (approx start)
Race 2: Superbike (6 laps)
Race 3: Supertwins (4 laps)
Race 4: Superstock (6 laps)
Race 5: Superbike (6 laps)

How can I watch it?
All practice sessions and races on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday can be viewed live on BBC iPlayer with worldwide video streaming available on the BBC Sport NI website.

There will also be three dedicated highlights programmes on BBC iPlayer and BBC One Northern Ireland starting on Friday night (May 12) at 10.40pm followed by two one-hour highlights programmes on Sunday (May 14) at 10.30pm and on Monday night (May 15) at 10.40pm.

Any other coverage?
Yes, Belfast Live will be blogging all the race action on Thursday and Saturday.

Works now. Supersport race got red flagged after half a lap, an incident at the roundabout, one fella has been treated by the medical staff (don't know who). Racing about to commence again!

Supertwins cancelled for tonight, hopefully gets slotted in on Saturday.

It was Nathan Harrison btw, who crashed during the Superstocks and got it red flagged, "minor injuries".

Supertwins and Supersport has been magical so far, but was not blown away by the Superstocks on Thursday, so the bigger bikes is still a question mark how good they race. First Superbike race next up!

We seem to be getting a few red flag interruptions, some races restarted and others called. Hopefully nothing serious.
Plenty of good racing in between though. Second Supertwin race especially.

Supersport def the highlight, too bad with the interruptions and shortened races, but seems like nothing serious at least. One more to go, Superbike feature.
