Hello a Canadian in North Carolina.

Hello !
Thank you for adding me to this group.
I'm originally from Ottawa, Canada.
I use to be involved with the Oswego Supermodifieds in Upstate N.Y. Where are crewed and helped Joe Gosek design and build a race car during my, college, 'grass roots' racing days.
When I quit pursuing my race car driver career, opportunities were presented to myself in North Carolina in 2000 to work for a race team with my skills acquired from my previous years of racing.
I was a huge follower of F1 back in mid 70's to early 90's. I attended the Canadian GP for years in the 80's.
When I was younger I followed a up and coming Gilles Villeneuve during his climb from snowmobile racing, Formula Atlantic, to F1.
My 1st Daytona I attended as a child was 1974. My father's 1st Daytona 500 was 1969.

A bit welcome to you @CrazyCanuck . Wow, sounds like you have a lot of experience of these things. Hope you enjoy yourself here on TFL, there are lots of people who know way more about they kind of things you mention than I do who will love to chat with you I'm sure. I'm strictly an F1 fan you see.
