This won't be 10 secs if any. Sky needs to STFU and stop creating fake drama. I know they are upset Mercedes is having a down year but no need to push the tabloid crap.
I don’t want to disagree but we didn’t see it very clearly with the helicopter view we got just before the restart. I did think the field was unusually spread out when the SC went into the pits and Perez started pushing more or less after the straight before the bridge so he had plenty of space to spare

I don’t know what Crofty was talking about with the 112 points but according to Motorsport.com Max is 104 points ahead with four rounds left so it’s wrapped up as far as I’m concerned.
There are five rounds left:
Japan
USA
Mexico
Brazil
Abu Dhabi
5×25=125.
So it is mathematically possible for Max to be caught.

I guess it depends on when the SC lights went out. Isnt that the moment that Sergio takes control? When the lights on the SC go out the SC accelerates away and Sergio takes control.

However, woeful stewarding / RD for them to be unable to deal with a situation that occurred at 22:32, over 30 mins before the race ended:
a) during the race (knowing it related to the race leader).
b)by the podium presentation and celebrations
c) or for it to be unable to formally publish the outcome of the investigation sooner than an hour and a half after the race finish..(race finished at 23:05, ). Over 2 hours from the incident occurrence.

As an aside Latifi will be forced to serve a five-place grid penalty at the upcoming Japanese Grand Prix after the stewards deemed him at fault for a collision with Zhou Guanyu in Singapore.
Latifi and Zhou were running towards the back of the pack in the early stages of Sunday night’s race when a clash put Zhou out on the spot and saw Latifi limp back to the pits with terminal damage.
After reviewing the footage, the stewards determined that:
Latifi was “predominantly to blame” for the incident, handing him a five-place grid drop for Suzuka and two penalty points (putting him on three for the 12-month period).
“Zhou was attempting to overtake Latifi on a straight approaching Turn 5 and had sufficient room, taking the normal racing line. Latifi pulled to the left, not leaving one car width to Zhou and resulting in significant contact between the cars,”

Stewards may have instead said: "Latifi to take his usual 20th grid slot in Japan"
Is there not a single chance for Williams to replace Latifi for lets say Nyck? They are so desperate in need of points. Not that the Williams is able to score Top 10s at a regualr basis, but with Latifi the chances are very dire. Albon has the quality to reach a Top 10.
Brian Redman: "Mr. Fangio, how do you come so fast?" "More throttle, less brakes...."
We might get some answers on the driver's placement this month. I am keen to hear about the future of both individuals. Gasly deserves a better place, and Nyck a place.
