Good on him.
He's been rather impressive for the races he's had this season.

With Tom, Felix, Marcus and Linus, that makes it 3.5 Swedes from four guys.
Add Askew back in there and we got four Swedes from five guys racing, which is nice.

To sum it up:
Chip outbid MSR for Linus.
MSR to sign Felix.
Malukas to the #6.
Ilott and the 77 to become the McLaren satellite team.
Also: Grosjean out of AA for 2024. AA might downsize to three cars. Which would have them lose their fourth car being eligibile for leaders circle payout, which is grandfathered in.

Good move by them.
I don't think he's a title winner (then again, I didn't think Palou would win one, let alone two!), but he's a step up compared to the geriatrics they've had the last couple of years.
Blomqvist will be interesting to see.

Thoughts on him?
Hasn't been a standout rookie season (the likes of de Ferran, Montoya, Zanardi, etc), but certainly solid enough to deserve a proper shot.

On board with Colton Herta at Laaguna in Bobby's 1998 car.
I know it was mentioned on the forum a couple of months or more ago that Colton Herta had purchased and restored the 1998 Reynard 98i-Ford/Cosworth his father Bryan drove to victory 25 years ago at Laguna Seca. Having purchased the car and given it to his father for his birthday, the two took the car to Laguna for a playday this week.
Colton wass giving it the beans. Here are those 4 laps through his helmet cam. Oh did I mention I read he did a 1 minute 12 in the car which is not too shabby at all. Just checked and the current qualifying pole record is a high 7, dontt know what year. Last year I think Power topped the grid with a 1:11.6 so yeah Colton was on it. Make sure you watch his last full lap.
