I could put countless Ricky Stenhouse Jr schemes from 2022 in here but I'll scale it down to just a few. That Kroger logo placement is terrible and there is no attempt at all to make the hood blend in with the rest of the car. Even more bizarre is that in a few races, they changed the color of the kroger hood but for the majority did not.

Mostly because it reminds me of this - which is one of my favourite ever liveries:
But yeah, the others are dreadful.

No disrespect to the late Dan Wheldon but Panther Racing went too far with this camouflage livery if you ask me.

Lets hope Travis Pastrana has a better livery for his Daytona 500 appearance then he did during his only full time NASCAR season in 2013.

This may of been testing, but believe it or not, that #6 car isn't a photoshop.

Hmm... about that link: certainly, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but at least half of those I'd rather class in the excellent category.

Believe it or not, Roush Racing also used the same design concept for two of their other cars during the same test.acerogers58 wrote: ↑1 year ago This may of been testing, but believe it or not, that #6 car isn't a photoshop.

"Design concept"? Looks to me like primer with a hastily applied number. After all, it's just a test.

I thought the same..... how dare they classify the Pink Pig in the worst liveries. Only a few weeks ago I posted that in the rare liveries thread because, well, it was a one off so therefore rare. I believe I also referred to it as iconic....... I would have been equally more than happy posting it is the best / favourite liveries thread. As for others from that link of supposed nightmare liveries, The Red Lobster I was quite fond of also, and the BAR livery with the half and half zipper joined 555 and Lucky Strike brands i have a die cast model of which sits proudly in my home office. So yeah IMO far from dreadful liveries.Michael Ferner wrote: ↑1 year ago Hmm... about that link: certainly, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but at least half of those I'd rather class in the excellent category.
The Samson Shag Shadow back in 1979 I thought was quite a breath of fresh air (sic) and quite a revolutionary livery at the time.... ISTR the Lion's Head and flames livery I am thinking of suddenly appeared for the European races, having been a more conservative and regular type livery (still Samson) for the early season flyaways. The Lion's head was just so unique and away from the norm of the period. A bit like when the Penthouse Rizzla Hesketh appeared. And the "Small Family Car" (Durex) was another eye opener from back in the seventies...
Shame it (the Lions head / flames) did not last too long, Samson had taken its Shag money away from F1 at the end of the '79 season, and with it Shadow became plain white and boring by mid season 1980, and then were gone before the end of the year..
.... And what nowadays.... if the FIA had its way all the cars would be running "Human Rights Suck" stickers.

Knowing what Vic Lee is famous (or should that be infamous) for, the BMW livery from the 1992 British Touring Car Championship should not be too surprising.
