Elliott Sadler’s initial 2011 NASCAR Nationwide series paint scheme. CitiFinancial rebranded to OneMain Financial during the offseason so this car never raced.

If the rumours linking Zakspeed with a return to F1 via buying out Arrows in 1998 had been true....

First one is quite well known - durring 1964 season Enzo had a dispute with Italian motoring federation ACI and in result he declared, that Scuderia Ferrari won't take part in final races of the season. Off course Ferrari cars were present on both races, entered by North American Racing Team (NART) and painted in white and blue - USA national colours in racing. NART was in all but the name (and colours) factory team, so this can count as a non-red Ferrari livery.

Certainly fills me with intrigue.

It's going to be a stripe of blue so small you're barely able to notice it

Much prettier one off for a Scuderia works entered Ferrari was the yellow sharknose 156 entered for Olivier Genedebien at the 1961 Belgian GP.

He hailed from Brussels and had recently won the Le Mans 24 Hours for Ferrari. The yellow reflected his nationality and also that of the Belgian Ferrari importer, Jacques Swaters who picked up the team’s costs for this car. Gendebien finished fourth in a Ferrari whitewash with a three car front row of the grid lockout and 1-2-3-4 finish.

Of course Ferraris were entered privately with yellow liveries as Gendebiens car often painted in Belgium's national racing colour, yellow, the car entered by ‘Equipe National Belge’

Back in the early 1950's Brazil's first F1 driver (and pointscorer) Chico Landi entered races in South America in a yellow Ferrari single-seater, as well as Formula Libre races elsewhere.

Image

Even when Landi drove a Ferrari at Monza in 1951 the car had a high yellow content.....

Haven't Gendebien's yellow Ferraris been mentioned before on this thread?

My expectations regarding Ferrari's one-off livery for the Miami race weren't that high to begin with.
