Bottom post of the previous page:

In Q1 as the chequered flag flew it was Pol Espargaro and Mir at the top...... for a few seconds..... with Zarco and Rins taking the top places with late laps. Bastianini almost made it through but ended up first of the non Q2 qualifiers.

Its all a bit frantic in Q2 qualifying and I cant keep up with a minute to go.... the 2013 Bridgestone tyre set record was broken with three minutes to go and then the names on the leaderboard became yo-yos with just about everyone appearing on the front row.... For info the lap record at PI set by Lorenzo in 2013 was the longest unbroken lap record from old.

But we ended up with Jorge Martin on Pole with a 1:27.780

Behind him we had MM93, Bagnaira on the front row with Aleix Esp and Quartararo (both alo in the 27's) and Zarco, with Marini Miller and Bezzechi on the third row.

All set for a good arm wrestle tomorrow for the championship lead with all the main challengers on the front two rows.

I will post the full grid shortly.

Izan Guevara wins the Moto3 race and becomes world champion!

Deniz Oncu in 2nd place ahead of Garcia and Sasaki. It was a four bike race at the front. Foggia and Masia were nowhere.

Hehehe glad to see you are here and well
First four broke away a bit in Moto 3 but well done to Guevara on his WC

Amusing when he got his new gold WC helmet on to celebrate and nearly landed on his heaad mucking about before getting back to his lap of honour

Nasty crash for Navarro got run over by a following rider. Lucky over his body not head, but still a stretcher job. Hope he is ok.

Lopez just cruising to this one. Bit of a battle for 5th -8th.
Such a silly / strange accident for Fernandez. Following Acosta and just lost the front

The rain that was around for the MotoGP warmup earlier this morning has gone and the radar showing no more in the area so we should have a dry race.

The wet might have upset those looking to finalise tyre choices and pressures (especially Fabio who blamed his Thailand fail on incorrect pressures) for the race as it was never fully dry and after a few minutes was quite wet. Wet enough for MM to throw it down the road (without damaging himself.)

The rain did stop but it was only a short session so never dried out.

There seems to be a bit of confusion over tyres with riders taking anything from MM93 on soft to others on medium and some on hard tyres. 27 laps of the high speed long radius turns is a bit of an ask, and its warmer today than before this weekend. A headwing down the straight will have a bit of effect as well.

Warm up lap about to start.
