He won't retire. It's all bluster. We had this a year ago.
As I've said before, this will rumble on through to pre season testing. George will do day 1 and 2, Lewis will be "absent", and if the car is good he will be there for day 3. If the car is shit, he'll retire and claim he was pushed out rather than repeat 2009 and 2011.

Oh my goodness, that is just awful. I am guessing Latifi is not alone, I suspect it's been as bad, if not even worse, for Mick Schumacher after what I have seen said about him. What is wrong with these people? Does what happened on the track affect their day to day life? It's not like he drove into them and injured them deliberately, then and only then could I understand venom against him the like of which he's clearly had sent his way.

Indeed.... in the run in he was doing much better, especially given the (update lacking) car he had, and indeed beat Mr Saturday in qualy a couple of times.

I was telling @Everso Biggyballies there was a woman here who campaigned to get Jane Austen on a bank note, she got abuse, hatred, death threats and some guy saying if he ever saw her in person he'd like to rape her. Over a picture on a bank note! Nothing of this sort surprises me after that, it disgusts me, but doesn't surprise me sadly

These "fans", of whom SLH definitely would not be proud of, need to ventilate their frustration and disbelief about what had happened in the last 2 laps of the Abu Dhabi GP. I am sure that you would see the same thing when the situation was inverted. Max in front on old tires and SLH behind him on new reds. And twitter is an open sewer.
