It makes sense but a couple of cars have made multiple pit stops, often just sitting in pitlane with just a top up, for the 2 minutes minimumstop time time.... It makes sense to rack up completed compulsory pit stops whilst it is wet and the SC is out. Then, come the end of the race when they have racked up their (9) compulsory stops they can take shorter stops not mandated by the minimum 2 minute time.
Oh well getting ready to go green again. SC in this lap.

Well it eventually stopped and is in the garage. Certainly something is up and they have lost a few laps.
Interesting to see the T8 run #75 Habul Gounon Stolz Merc is running ahead of the Official #888 car of SVG Feeney and Ibrahim.
The #75 was leading and now runs 2nd. Funny that Dane is running that car and not involved in the #888 car. I have always seen Kabul as a wealthy ride buyer before.
Mind you early days yet..... still not half way.

The #75 currently with Gounon at the wheel is hauling in the leading #91 Craft Bamboo car of Tse.
I think the #91 is in a strong position because their early extra stops mean they have now completed all their compulsory 2 minute minimum length pit stops and can now in effect run quicker stops to the end.

Engel now in the Craft Bamboo car and Am driver Tse is out of the car.
Just goes to show that in a 12 hour race qualy is irrelevant. The #91 car started rear of grid following an engine change forced them to miss qualy.

Now the #65 Mostert car is crabbing down the straight with deranged rear suspension and heading to pitlane.
Looks like it ent off at McPhillamys and had contact with the wall.

At the front its Engel in the #91 Craft Bamboo car who seems to have a bit more pace than SVG in the #888 in second. Mind you the gap is only 10 seconds so its a long way from over. I have a feeling the #888 has also completed its 9 Compulsory 2 minute stops and is therefore on the same stop only for what you need to do type of strategy.
