Apparently there was no running prior to the race?
So no practice, no qualifying, no warmup - just the race.
Is this the format for all races?
@Antonov -
'Been a number of years since I followed NASCRAP....errrr....NASCAR....closely but XFinity/Cup
typically went
something like.....
Friday - X&C practice sessions and Cup qualifying in the afternoon
Saturday - X&C practice with X qual in the morning; X race in the late afternoon-early evening
Sunday - C race in the afternoon
Also, all the above varied for Sat. night Cup races and other such variances.
If the trucks ( ???.....tube frame race chassis that have "look like" pickup trucks bodies....same as X&C ain't Camaros, Mustangs, or SuprasCamrys) ran the same track on the weekend, they'd usually race Friday night. 'Could be wrong about that, didn't follow them at all......
"Are all cars in Nascar the same?
NASCAR cars aren't all the same." (my insert...Oh...??? Then why the following?...) "While NASCAR's regulations require teams and manufacturers to comply with a stringent set of specifications, what distinguishes between the different NASCAR cars are
their engines and body shells. ... Three manufacturers compete in NASCAR's top-tier Cup Series: Chevrolet, Ford and Toyota.
" (Ala IndyCar where the cars
are exactly the same Dallara DW12s with leased and sealed "Honda" or "Chevrolet", engines)
Those were the days my friends, we thought they'd never end.....
