Looks like Briscoe has no one to compete with for rookie of the year, maybe James Davison if he goes full time.
I have a feeling Corey LaJoie will probably run one of the Spire cars, unless Preece is booted then he will probably go to JTG .
FRM likely to stay the same.
Not sure who will run for the Gaunt Bros, maybe a bunch of different TRD drivers?
BJ McLeod will probably run his own car most if not all of the time.
Timmy Hill will probably return to the #66.
Ty Dillon might possibly retire like rumoured last year or run part time for Go-Fas with Childress backing, while Kaz Grala is also an option according to rumours.
Also Christopher Bell is in the #20, not Erik Jones.

Wasn't there a rumor going around that (I think) Spire bought the #37 charter? I can't vouch for how true those rumors are, but with the way Preece has performed this year, it seems possible.acerogers58 wrote: ↑3 years ago I have a feeling Corey LaJoie will probably run one of the Spire cars, unless Preece is booted then he will probably go to JTG .
I also heard Ryan Ellis will be competing in the Daytona 500 too with Go Fas Racing.

The "Spire to acquire the 37" rumors are seemingly nixed. Ryan Preece apparently gets another year in the 37:

This isn't related to the cup series, but did you guys hear Josh Reaume got suspended indefinitely? Dude really took the time to draw a swastika on a poptart, whip out his phone, and thought "Man this is some funny shit, imma go post it on the internet!"
Like I understand Kyle Larson's "gamer word" was just a slip of the tongue, but ol Josh here actually had time to process that maybe posting a poptart with swastika frosting to social media might not be the brightest of ideas. What a moron.

Someone screenshotted it before he deleted, not sure what else this was meant to be??
Here’s what he said, claiming that he “didn’t mean to offend anyone” He’s since deleted his twitter account.

Maybe he was trying to imbue the snack with spiritual goodness.
Wikipedia wrote:The word swastika comes from Sanskrit: स्वस्तिक, romanized: svástika, meaning 'conducive to well-being'.[7][8] In Hinduism, the right-facing symbol (卐) is called swastika, symbolizing surya ('sun'), prosperity and good luck, while the left-facing symbol (卍) is called sauvastika, symbolizing night or tantric aspects of Kali.[8] In Jainism, a swastika is the symbol for Suparshvanatha – the seventh of 24 Tirthankaras (spiritual teachers and saviours), while in Buddhism it symbolizes the auspicious footprints of the Buddha.[8][9][10] In several major Indo-European religions, the swastika symbolizes lightning bolts, representing the thunder god and the king of the gods, such as Indra in Vedic Hinduism, Zeus in the ancient Greek religion, Jupiter in the ancient Roman religion, and Thor in the ancient Germanic religion.

I'm sure he buckled to the BLM & racism narrative in USA and doesn't even realize NSDAP had nothing to do with Africa anymore (because the West & East African colonies were taken away from Germany after WWI already).MonteCristo wrote: ↑3 years ago Not sure what West Africa has to do with Nazis.

He's just another moron nobody will miss though. And it also shows Americans have zero clue about European history.

Apart from some new tracks, other things to keep an eye on in 2021?
New paint schemes for example?

Hasn't been much new paint schemes announced yet as teams are dealing with sponsors who are struggling financially, I doubt the 23XI Racing car they unveiled will stay that way because Bubba will certainly get sponsors, and I'd probably expect most of Alex Bowman's sponsors from this year which are mainly Chevrolet affiliates go to Kyle Larson as Bowman now has Ally.
There has been this Root Insurance ad featuring Bubba although the car he drives in the ad doesn't have a number.

Are 'Bubba Wallace' and 'William Darrell Wallace Jr.' the same person?
oh man, I'd really like to attend a Daytona 500 one day - but 2021 won't be the year for obvious reasons.
