Yes. I forgot the Ferrari 312T5.
It collected 8 points in 1980, over a whole season, while the Lotus 80 scored one 3rd place in 3 races it competed.

The reason the 80 was discontinued was that it simply did not function properly. The Ferrari 312T5 was simply outdated. It could not generate enough ground effect to be competitive.

dare I also nominate the 1998 Williams?

Although, arguably, with Bridgestone tyres, they would have been challenging for the championship.

I would agree with this over the T5.

The Ferrari had some terrible races, like Canada, where GV could only manage 22nd on the grid and Scheckter failed to qualify, but Villeneuve managed to drag some semi-decent performances from it. Damon Hill and Pedro Diniz spent almost the whole season near or on the back of the grid.

dare I also nominate the 2005 Ferrari?

Although I believe it was mainly due to the tyre-rule that season, this car only won 1 race following an absolutely dominant 2004.
Had it not been for the Michelin-fiasco at Indianapolis, the F2005 wouldn't have won a single race.

Yeah.... I had forgotten that had the #1 on it, albeit inherited with Schu moving from Benetton to Ferrari.

Due to Schumacher's brilliance in Spain, double Hill retirements in Belgium and Italy, a pit error by Villeneuve at Spa and a poor race by Villeneuve in Italy.

Wasn't quite sure if a car with wins deserves to be on the list or not so I held off. Awful car but you have to be in 2nd position to pick up the odd win if P1 retires

I would agree if it wasn't for the fact that it was driven by statistically the greatest f1 drivers who's ever lived. That has to be taken into account.
