Forza 7 - Project Cars 2 - Gran Turismo Sport
Does anyone play Forza?
If so, what are your impressions?
And what is the difference between Horizon and Motorsport?
Or maybe I should wait for Project Cars 2 (it has tons of tracks and many cars, although it doesn't feature too many Ferraris) to be released on PS4, or maybe even Gran Turismo Sport.

I don't have them personally (not at the moment anyway) but there is a big difference between Horizon and Motorsport. Horizon is an open-world, pretty arcadey racing game, kind of like Test Drive Unlimited, except with a lot more car mods then Unlimited had from recollection. Forza Motorsport is basically no different to any other sim racer except it's not as realistic and although there are more proper race cars being added, the biggest percentage of cars in the game are road cars which you can then do all sorts of modifications to.

I'll play out F12017 and then pick up PC2. I'm intrigued by the cars and the tracks (Old Spa).

Historic Spa for PC2 looks painfully inaccurate in places. Especially Eau Rouge. Just get GPL, it probably even drives a little more realistically:

Let me know when GPL is available for PS4.
I've had my GPL days, they are over. I don't wanna spend hours on hours tinkering with setups any more, I just want casual, semi-simulation racing. PC2 will do me just fine.

I found PC1 to be near impossible with the PS4 controller, or was that just me not trying enough?

The karts were woeful. The slower cars worked with the driving aids, but the more powerful cars were just impossible to control.

Last night, I had a discussion with one of the lesser members from this forum.
We are a bit confused - will the new Gran Turismo be very similar to the previous ones (with a variety of cars, from a Renault Clio to a Suzuki and to GT racers) or will it be focused only on actual GT racing cars? (thus narrowing the spectrum)
I would be sad if they narrowed the game to just GT racing (and for example get rid of Club championships with VW Polos so to speak).

1) I'll ignore your opening paragraph
2) Only YOU are confused
3) Google is your friend if you want to find a car list for GT Sport (https://www.gtplanet.net/gran-turismo-sport-car-list/)
I pre-ordered this game on Amazon over a year ago. Now only a few weeks until release.

Apparently PC2 works quite well with just a controller. Or so the reviews say. Haven't tried it myself, going to see out F12017 first.

F1 2017 is good and I prefer it to previous versions. I find it slightly easier to drive without all the driver aids.
PC2 I'm not convinced by considering PC's handling / physics characteristics were all over the place. And judging by this video, there are still some flaws that need to be fixed:

Well, I mean, they are driving on snow and sheet ice after all.
I think the winter races are a cool addition to the game.
Edit: or are you referring to the fact that he is faster on the grass? Well, that only makes sense, though?

Yes I am and yes you are right although that maybe more relevant to off-road cars rather than flat bottomed races cars that sit a couple of inches from the ground. But this was extreme. He's able to drive inside the apexes of multiple corners without a hint of warning or penalty from the game.
