Lewis was at Donington Park last weekend to support his brother Nicolas who's currently competing in the British Touring Car Championship. Picked a good day to do that, not weather-wise obviously but in terms of his brother's performance, Nicolas came 6th in Race 2!

Carlos looking high on life after his recent strong run and superb lights to flag win at Singapore last weekend , whilst in the other corner we have one time crowd surfer Lewis, looking very lost at sea and it just struck me he might be asking Carlos if when Carlos had found his had he seen that of Lewis in the gutter somewhere.

Lewis is now on the cusp of going two seasons without a win...... with his last two races giving him a 7th and an 8th place finish his chances of a win this weekend are minimal
this time last year he ws on the verge of his first ever season without a win.
Lewis had his last win at the 2021 Saudi Arabian GP.Team mate George Russell won a GP and a Sprint last year.
No need to cry for him though.... he shares top spot with Michael Schumacher in terms of consecutive years winning races. MS managed to win a race in 15 consecutive year from 1992 > 2006. Lewis also has 15, from 2007 > 2021.

So, Lewis will be a Ferrari driver after the upcoming season. Interesting.

Anyhow, one of the great stories of F1 was how two guys of very different looks, styles and backgrounds became teammates and friends in F3, and that friendship continued on until they were teammates in F1. Apparently, they have finally repaired their relationship: https://www.gptoday.com/full_story/view ... ationship/

Thoughts on who is to blame on the original breakdown?
Nico trying to assert himself? Or Lewis salty when he's getting beating?
Good of them to mend things though. They both have success. No point hanging onto BS of the past that frankly doesn't matter.
