I have just been watching a replay of Sidecar Racing at Scarborough.... absolutely mental on a track barely wide enough for two to be side by side without one being partially on the grass.

While the Race of the South at Walderstown town hopefully ain't too much rain threatened today quite some teams already made their way over to the Isle of Man for the Southern 100 road races on the Billown course during this coming week. Guy Martin withdrew the other day leaving Michael Dunlop and brother William as the hot favourites for the laurels here.

The race week is scheduled as follows:
Monday 11th July Practicing for all classes
Tuesday 12th July Corlett's Trophies Senior Solo Founders 600cc/1000cc Race 7 laps starting at 8.00pm and on completion followed by Station Garage Junior Solo Founders 125cc/400cc/450cc & Electric Motorcycle Race 6 laps
Wednesday 13th July Ellan Vannin Fuels Senior Race 7 laps starting at 6.20pm and on completion followed by Mike Kerruish Plumbing & Heating 250cc/650cc twins Race 1, 6 laps and on completion followed by Radcliffe Butchers 600 Race 7 laps and on completion followed by Ace Hire & Sales Formula Two Sidecar Race 6 laps
Thursday 14th July Pole Positiion Travel 600cc B Race starting at 10.15am and on completion followed by S & S Motors 600cc Race 7 laps and on completion followed by Island Aggregates Superbike Race 7 laps.
