Bottom post of the previous page:

as for Bio Infinite, I notice the controls are a bit different. Did you change them, or use the default controllers? (eg. action button Square instead of Cross).
Nah, I didn't change them. I actually started out with Infinite rather than Bio 1 and 2, so it was a non-issue for me. I got around to it quickly enough. I don't recall any framerate stutters with Bio 2, not that I reflected over anyway.

I found Infinite to be the worst of the trio, bit too mechanical for my tastes.

Infinite divided people in two groups I think. I enjoyed the characters, the enemies, the battle sequences with the skylines. Elizabeth is the best NPC I've ever encountered in a game. The atmosphere in Columbia too, was brilliant. But I totally get where you're coming from.

I decided to give it a pauze until next weekend. To let the events of Rapture set in.

It was nice to be the father of Eleanor, but ideally, I'd have a hot babe as my companion in a next game :D

The real thing would be better than some virtual chick! You might as well have a vinyl inflatable doll sat with you as a computer image. Suppose it helps the fantasy though. :dunno:

I'll get back to you on this once Antonov is done with Infinite. I dont want to spoil his impressions with my mad ramblings

pardon me if I'm wrong, but isn't Infinite USA-themed? If so, I have some reserves...

Yes, but not in a patriotic-bald-eagle-screeching way if that's what you're thinking.

Europe is being battered by storm Eleanor at this time. I wonder if it is related to me freeing Eleanor a few days ago.

I started with Bioshock Infinite and am absolutely gobsmacked. Just walking around in the first 20 minutes is magic. Feels like you are actually there!

How did you like the intro when the shuttle lowers into Columbia? I think it's the most beautiful intro of any game, bar none. My jaw just hit the floor when I saw it for the first time, and I still head back to Youtube to see it again from time to time.

At the 2.02 mark.

Also, an easter egg: When you exit the shuttle and approach the preacher in the water, he says "Is it someone new?". This is a reference to Bioshock 1, when you enter Rapture, and the first splicer you encounter also says "Is it someone new?".
