Bottom post of the previous page:

Thanks Jesper, Criminal is the most "normal" song of this album, the other 6 songs are a strange Zappa/prog mix. Selling is just a detail ...

How do you record this, then. We used protools, and we did all except the drums in my house. Basically the whole album cost less than £1,000 to make, 1000 copies.

Drums (2004) - Analog tape 24CH 2" > digitalized Pro Tools (48/24).
Bass and organ (2004 - other studio) - Cubase.
Guitar and voices (2012 - another studio) - Pro Tools.
All tracks reconverted D/A > analog TAC Scorpion (Neve) console > reconverted A/D > Pro Tools HD. This version of Criminal is not mixed yet, and this vocals is the 2004 guide vocals. The cost so far is around 10.000 USD.

This song is great. You are guitarist and keyboardist right?

Thanks caneparo, I play guitar in a 80's hard/metal group INOX. There are some songs by INOX in my Soundcloud (FCosta), and some progs and also experimental songs for bass.

i will check those out for sure. I remember some malmsteen runs in those inox albums; it's rare to find virtuoso players in both guitars and keyboards; the few i remember are mike keneally and tony macalpine (both played in steve vai's band)

These are two great musicians. Certainly they are on another level, much better than mine.

Haha, I thought you'd done a cover of the Tommy Bolin song... But I'd still say you're looking to bring back the 70s! Looking forward to this!

Well, I really never left the 70s. That's a compliment for me.

0:15-0:20 is :haha: :haha: :haha: I keep on listening to that... reminds me of Keith Emerson who always puts musical in-jokes into his solos.

Yes, that's true, KE influenced me a lot, but they are only fragments of the songs out of context, isolated tracks that compose the score for the teaser. Anyway, Homeleth songs are even a little funny.

Very ironic lyrics, but I suppose that's the general idea of Homeleth. I liked boths songs.
