Crash Photos Suggestion

Post by PTRACER »

Do you think we should "Unsticky" all the threads like "Hillclimbing Photos" and have just one thread that is a sticky, which links in Chronological AND Race series order, with the name of the crash linking to the post it was posted. Therefore, if someone wanted to find a particular crash, they would go to the list, and find it very easily.

I know the Search function could be used to find pictures, but, sometimes, it doesn't always work that way...

It might be a big task, but could be done quite easily and quickly if we work together. I will post an example in the next post.

Good idea! I was think of this, just last night. It's hard to lump all of these crashes together, as they are. Seems like the index would be a good idea. I don't think separate threads is the answer.
What if?

EXAMPLE!:

Motorcycle Crashes
196?: Bruce Croxon - Paramatta Raceway
1961: Gordon Allan - Royale
1962: Frank Malouf / Harold Campbell - Royale
1962: Barry Hopkin - Royale
1973: Jarno Saarinen Renzo Pasolini - Monza

Openwheel Crashes
1964: Formula 1, Jo Bonnier, Belgian GP, Spa.
1980: Formula 1, Jochen Mass, Austrian GP.

ETC.

Get the picture? :P (Pun not intended  )
I think it is a great idea! I have recently done something very similar for my website to have a complete overview of the crashes, http://users.pandora.be/aerogi/Racing/C ... h_List.htm (Have you been visiting it recently ... ), but then without the direct links, altough I might do that, seems a very good idea. I hope you didn't "copyrighted" this, so I can do the same?

You're welcome to copy the idea aerogi, I haven't copyrighted it yet

Well, I guess this must be a good idea!

I'll start work on it later, when I have the time...

If anyone wants to help, they are welcome to, so PM me first and I'll give you details on what to do.
