Actually, that's hugely annoying. The Beatles, an old-time legend of pop music, and modern marketing tricks - they don't mix at all! Just release the fookin' thing, and don't hype it like it's anonymous modern pop trash. Makes me already dislike it, even before I hear a single note.

They've pretty much given us the song already.
It'll be cool to hear something new that's actually by the four.

You are not the only one with thoughts of not only the marleting aspect but also the use of AI and the question of "How real is it"Michael Ferner wrote: ↑6 months ago Actually, that's hugely annoying. That is from a TLDR article on the Sydney Morning Herald.Award-winning journalist, presenter and broadcaster Jane Gazzo thinks a new Beatles song is fantastic. “It could be said, ‘John’s raised from the dead! George is back from the dead!’” she says with a smile. “In some ways, it’s really exciting. But I do worry AI will take over.” She likens the new song to the holograms of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G. “There’s part of you that knows that it’s not real, but you’re carried away,” she says.
The use of AI raises a number of ethical questions for her: “How much AI is involved? At what point does it stop being the Beatles and does it become something completely manufactured? Should the Beatles be left alone for us to enjoy the back catalogue? Is this something we should embrace?”

Heard the song this morning on the radio... Honestly, I know now why the Beatles never released it - it's a terribly boring song!!
