Gran Turismo 7, followed by F1 22.
I much prefer GT7 for the handling model, but I don't enjoy the racing. I like grid racing, not spread fields where the leader is 30 seconds clear and you're faster. I want same performance, so F1 22 wins the racing side.

For me it's iRacing. Began in late May and been driving it a lot since.

Still GPL, once you're in the online racing community, you don't want to leave. Great bunch of guys, even though GPL online drivers are sadly a dying breed. Quite noticeable in some leagues...
Assetto Corsa comes 2nd. Got to know a bunch of great guys there in a club which does fun races, and formed a team for a 24h of Sebring in GT3s.
Planning to do more ACC next year. So far I've been reluctant to buy any DLC, but I really want to get on LFM (iRacing-esque ranking system with organized races).
I had iRacing for 3 months thanks to a Humble Bundle offer where you got 250+ dollars worth of racing games for 13 dollars. Tried a few races there and really enjoyed competitive sprint races with the base game content, but I wasn't willing to go further with the sim, just way too much money to spend for me.

Automobilista, as my league runs that sim. In 2022 I did F1 1958 in a Maserati and DRM 1978 division 2 in a BMW 320. F1 was the hardest, with 3 hour races and bad reliability, only finished 1 race. Was pretty competitive in DRM with one win at the Nordschleife and a few other good runs but reliability was an issue there too. Lost at least 3 podiums with blown engines.
This year it'll be F1 1986 with Tyrrell and some Procar and group C races. Going back to iRacing now also, want to do the 1987 NASCAR cars.
