I would like to formally announce that later this year ‘The Official Fastlane Forum Awards 2022’ will be coming your way. Are you sure they’re official I hear you wondering? Well, yes they are. @PTRACER has graciously agreed to them happening.
At the moment, the plan is to run them around the summer break, though maybe I could be persuaded to run then sooner if there is a lot of interest. I want to stress, these awards are not about me, they’re about you, the good members of this forum. I am just your glamorous hostess.

In addition to awards that will be voted on, if you have ideas for a particular/special award, I will also be allowing those. For example ‘The Special Award For Best Forum goes to @PTRACER ’. Get the idea? So get your thinking caps on for those. These will be limited in number as I can’t do dozens of them.
Anyway, I have some ideas on the kinds of awards I’d like to run but I want to know a couple of things from you guys:
1. Are you interested in having them?
2. What categories would you like to see included?
I can’t guarantee all of your ideas will be included, depending on how many there are. I have to consider my award designer/maker @Ultra (aka my daughter). She has a long history of making awards for me over the years and I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed. I don’t want to overwhelm her, bless her.
So it’s over to you. Please let me know how much interest there is here for them. Oh and one other thing. I won’t run any awards that are mean, nasty or mind offend. This is supposed to be a bit of fun to makes us all feel good and to hopefully make us all smile.
