Aragon this weekend and a great Moto3 race.... championship leader Acosta got a get out of jail free card.... he crashed out earlier in the race, Garcia his nearest challenger was all set to get a hatful of points but threw them down the road with his bike on the last lap.
Foggia won from Oncu who had led much of the race, and Sasaki

In the Moto Gp Marquez jnr has thrown it down the road in the early stages. Big Bro running in 2nd atm, with Bags leading, Miller 3rd A Esp 4th , Mir 5th Martins 6th Quartar down in 7th. Think Dixon is out too.

Bags and MM93 are well out in front but MM93 is on Bags tail. Behind Mir and A Es are fighting for 3rd, Miller 5th. Quartar 8th not looking like he cn do much about it. 4 las to go. MM 93 is going to have a go for the lead any time soon.

......apparently Maverick was on an Aprilia today.
His new gig after being fired by Yamaha a few races ago..... he had agreed with the team (Yamaha) he would leave at the end of the year despite being under contract for next year.Obviously more to it than made public. He then signed for Aprilia for next season. At the next race it was showed he had deliberately mistreated his engine mid race trying to blow it up to DNF. Initially suspended for that, followed by bad words from Vinales about Yamaha, they then released him from any connection to Yamaha with immediate effect thus he was free to start with Aprilia immediately rather than next year as he had planned.

Yep, I saw the whole leaving Yamaha part. Didn’t know he signed with Aprilia though.
Its 2022 news but we dont yet have a 2022 thread.....
Sepang Racing Team to be rebranded as RNF Racing in MotoGP for 2022 >
SRT has announced it will be rebranded as RNF Racing as of 2022 and will continue in MotoGP through to the end of 2026.
(SRT announced it would be quitting all three classes of the MotoGP World Championship at the end of the 2021 season having been in existence since 2015 in Moto3, before progressing to Moto2 in 2017 and MotoGP in 2019. That news came in the wake of title sponsor Petronas confirming its own exit from the team at the end of 2021.)
They will continue to be run by Razlan Razali and Johan Stigefelt and will remain in MotoGP through as mentioned to the end of 2026 after penning a new agreement with Dorna Sports.
Details on sponsorship, rider line-up and a new agreement with Yamaha are yet to be revealed – though Andrea Dovizioso will ride with the squad on a factory-spec M1 at least for 2022.
