Yeah of course. My girlfriend worked as a translator for Babymetal once. And we saw them live in the UK where they are weirdly popular. I went out drinking with a friend of Babymetal's keyboard player a few weeks ago.

I only found Synthwave last year, but there is some really interesting stuff out there. I have to admit it's very 80's nostalgic mashup (mixes a bunch of different things from the 80s together in a good way.)

They are huge in japan. They had a huge success worldwide as well. They are a mix between idol culture (a very japanese thing which has a lolita late teen singer) and heavvy metal. They have a very high profile production, i think their guitarist was syu from Animetal and Galnyerus

This is me playing guitar. I was testing a new distortion pedal in my living room while the kids and wife were out (lockdown still prevents me to reach my rehearsing room). I did a Video while covering this instrumental rock song. There’s also some shredding in it. I hope you enjoy
