Planned downtime - 13th November

Notification from the host:
Your account has been scheduled for a migration to the new server on Friday, November 13, at 9:00 PM US Central Time. We expect the migration to take about 4-8 hours. All of your data will be transferred to this new server during the migration.
This should mean an even faster, even more reliable forum than we have now. But it does mean we might be offline for a short time on Friday night/Saturday morning depending on where you are in the world.

Is it guaranteed that no data from the last minutes/hours/days before the migration is lost?

Looks like a few posts from this afternoon are gone, but otherwise we are back!

That seems fairly seamless.... I never even noticed any downtime. I just checked if any posts I made today have disappeared and it seems not.

I reckon so too. especially after the last couple of days I had noticed it was a bit slow at times, but I thought that might be a sort of pre migration thing. Now it is instantaneous.

Yep forum seems very fast now, although I did get a couple of "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again." errors when attempting to post, just had to refresh page and it seemed to work fine.

Yes, me too. Let's hope these are minor bugs they can iron out.

Btw I noticed Postimg.cc is offline, but I haven't seen any announcements online that the site has gone under. If it doesn't come back within a day or two, I will enable the Forum Attachments function.

Aha!
That's it then. I was wondering last night where the function went.

Yes, it's been down for at least 12 hours now. I don't expect this to be permanent.

I've noticed this morning that the postimage doesn't work properly again.
When I wanted to up a photo it loads the pic, as in you see the sliding bar moving towards 100% but it never finishes.
Secondly, I did notice a few minutes ago that the two pics I've uploaded in the past couple of days, Josh Brookes Senior TT 2018 in Random Motorsport Pics as well as the Saturn, Jove & moon pic of last night in astronomy thread have gone bust. The text is still there but the preview thumbnails have disappeared
