Lewis Hamilton says race stewards are "trying to stop me" after he was denied a record-equaling 91st career win at the Russian Grand Prix on Sunday.

After the race, Hamilton said he felt the punishments were excessive.

"Of course it is. But it's to be expected. They're trying to stop me, aren't they?," he told Sky Sports F1.

Yes, they're trying to stop you by ... giving you steady regulations to maintain having the quickest car for year after year, knee-capping Ferrari when they come close to beating you, letting you keep your Dual Axis Steering, and keep the best car in 2021, while also removing your penalty points from the Sochi race.

Twitter told me anybody who has that view is racist, and it's wrong that we cheer Kimi for his shouting, or Max for his ranting.

No, we're not racist, we just think that Lewis has a detestable personality over the radio, and we don't know of his personality outside of the car except hypocritical actions.

Hmm. Why didn't he drive to the best of his capabilities to begin with? When I was a lad, F1 drivers drove "faster" from flag to flag... that's what made them F1 drivers! Anyone not willing to give 100 % all the time would've been better suited to sports car racing.

He would have been following the team's instructions due to tyre management. Don't blame Danny Ric's willing. Blame modern F1's approach to tyres.

Actually Danny almost sounded like he relished that penalty. 'does this mean I can go faster to make up the time, boss!? Aw, what a shame..'
