Rate the Styrofoam GP - Round 2
I did not enjoy laps 2-69 as much as I enjoyed Laps 1-71 last week.
The last 2 laps were awesome though.
And I have no problem with there being two back-to-back races at one circuit, I would be fine with double-headers in future seasons as well.

All in all, a 6 seems fair. The mid-field had quite a few good battles as usual.

Better race than last week's. 7 points. Good midfield battles. Top 3 was pretty much sealed. Albon's lack of pace at the start of the race was a bit worrying though. Still 4th.
Hope RBR will find some speed in this car, otherwise it will be a walk over for Mercedes. (at least this season is a short one)

I can't stand to see a Mercedes walking off with the race so I voted a 6. Last week's race saw much worse reliability and more mistakes too, i wonder why there was such a difference.

I gave it a 5..... a 3 for the race with a bonus point for the last few laps when it went off plus a point for the midfield scraps. The front was a borefest and glad the cameras didnt focus too much on them that I noticed.
Maybe that was a bit harsh because the midfield had quite a few dices looking at the race short highlights on TV, but I had already clicked 5 so thats it.

Very generous 6. Good start, good finish, bad middle, predictable result. A lot of team battles though and a Ferrari double DNF.. plenty to keep me interested, just not very spread out

Last week was better in my opinion with much more uncertainty and chaos. This week would have been two points down on last week until the last 2 laps with mega action. Last week was 7 from me, so this week was 6.
I would like to see Lewis tie up the records (or break some). But the racing is not as good when he dominates like that. Can we make him start in 5th every week for a bit of excitement?

Gave it a five. The upside: It was actually a great race for 4th place with multiple contenders. The downside: It was a race for 4th place.

That just about sums it up. The race was boring at the front end, but saved by the battles for the places. At lest the camras avoided following the Mercs endlessly, and in fact I barely recall seeing them on TV. Maybe they were there but I just mentally ignored them.

Yea, the race director definitely made the race more enjoyable. Less Merc coverage and more mid-pack battles shown.Everso Biggyballies wrote: ↑3 years agoThat just about sums it up. I gave it a 6 a couple of good fights and passes but not as interesting as last weekend for me.

No - that's exactly my thinking too with giving it a 5.Everso Biggyballies wrote: ↑3 years ago I gave it a 5..... a 3 for the race with a bonus point for the last few laps when it went off plus a point for the midfield scraps.
