I certainly hope so, but sometimes I have the feeling it is a bit like Rosberg in the McLaren in 1986.

It's not that unlikely, especially if Vettel doesn't make it to the finish. I think he could beat the Mercedes by himself if it's a track where the Ferrari is quicker. I would say that Seb is definitely the faster driver of the two though, Kimi must be heading towards the end of his career now.

No.

Hamilton is faster. Vettel is faster. Bottas is just as fast - if not faster due to the car - on most tracks.

A fair bit needs to go right for Kimi to win this season. Who know what the future beyond 2017 brings.

I think he might win @ Spa. He has always liked it there.

Keke was comfortably leading his last race when he had to retire due to puncture though. He probably would've won that one.

If he is going to manage a win it will be at Spa.

Considering Ferrari has been either the fastest or second fastest car, you would think the odds of a win are high. My gut feeling is a 'no' however. It just seems Vettel has it all over him, and at the moment he's a magnet to incidents and bad luck. We'll see, but as others have said, Spa will perhaps be his best shot.

I guess Kimi got his win, but being in an Alfa until the end of his career, that'll be his last.

By the way, he's 40 years old today. Happy birthday Kimi!

Happy 40th Birthday Kimi!
But I agree, he is done.

Fair or not, but the top teams are not looking to sign a driver of his age regardless of skill. His best chance is to jump series. DTM? World Endurance?

For Alfa, Kimi is of an invaluable asset to the team. I think he will drive another year for Alfa.

Just noticed that since this thread poll started, Kimi won the 2018 United States Grand Prix. Somehow we never updated the thread. Thanks for resurrecting it PTRacer!

Kimi has a 2 year contract so will definitely be in one of the Alfas in 2020.

I do wonder if Kimi will complete 2020. We saw with Lotus that he's not afraid to walk away, and if he's just lapping at the back of the midfield then is it enough?

If the car is an 8th-14th finisher every week then I'm sure he would love it as the midfield battles are better than the front, but if the car is a dud...

Kimi walked away from Lotus because he was fed up of working for free.
