Is Alonso to Red Bull even an option after all the bad blood with Honda? They still seem to have it out for him, given their recent 'That's GP2 victories' after Max won Hockenheim.
Their what now?

Damn, throwing some real shade on Alonso.
I'm now 100% a Honda fan.

Standard social media behavior.
What I saw of the comments was either:
1) “superb shade by Honda”
Or
2) “Honda comments disrespectful but Alonso’s criticism was ok”

Yep, the "his job is safe" kiss of death was real.
Sadly I don't think Albon will profit much from this unless he's a true devil in disguise. One can argue Kvyat & Gasly had better results at STR before bombing at RBR. Hell, Sainz appears to be even better than any of them and any STR product not named Verstappen & Ricciardo.

Awesome! So it's a straight swap. Albon for Gasly, Gasly for Albon. Brilliant.

i predict: this is the last race of Gasly for RBR. Albon will replace him. Or it happens in the summer break.

I think it's okay. They say it's a big risk promoting Albon but in truth we're making it sound like a bigger change than it actually is. Albon would still be surrounded by the same people, it's just his new car and engineer he needs to get acquainted with. It's good experience for him. I don't expect him to beat Max straight out of the box but at least he'll know what it's like.

It is just now that he will have a direct comparison to Max.... I hope he gets more than half a season to prove himself. Not that he hasnt shown good form to date, especially of late.
I wish him all the best as I think he is a great talent. Too good to get embroiled in the politics of Red Bull.

Gasly was done as soon as he put the new Red Bull in the wall during pre-season testing. It gave him a mental setback.
