Yeah, worst MotoGP race of the season, Rossi being stuck behind Pol E. enabled the Top 4 to get away and there was little action between them anyway. If only the rain held on until the start.

Yeah Rossi is saying the Yamaha engine does not have the pace or rideability of the others meaning he could not get close enough at the end of straights or get on to the straights fast enough to be able to outbrake anyone.

He was due to test the 2020 Yamaha engine today.... not that it will help him this year with their season's engine freeze rulings. (What you start the year with engine wise is what you get for the year)

Btw, Yuki Kunii has suffered a fractured right hand in that SL crash. This basically hands Carlos Tatay the Red Bull Rookies Cup as well.

John McPhee said the pit lane speed limiter activated when he hit 60 km/h and that's what led to the crash.

At Brno there was a 2020 rider / team switch rumour that passed us all by...

Jack Miller >> Repsol Honda
Jorge Lorenzo >> Pramac Ducati

Apparently Miller has yet to be offered a 2020 contract by Pramac (or Ducati) despite being promised a 2020 ride with factory spec equipment by Ducati as part of the deal of Petrucci signing with Ducati for 2019 and staying for 2020.

Ducati struggles to put the hammer down on their best circuit Red Bull Ring, if Marquez wins here it's really all over when it comes to the championship.

A mixed front row in Moto2, Nagashima on pole and Chantra third!

Leopard Racing forms a new superteam for 2020, Masia & Foggia (well, not quite). I guess this all but confirms Dalla Porta will move up to Moto2 next season.

Didn't catch qualy but 0.434s pole margin! Unless it was in drying conditions again like last week, this is so demoralising for the rest of the field.

I wonder if Bastianini suffered a broken ankle or something? Hopefully not! That was a dumb move from Marini.

And Dovizioso wins in another last corner pass. But they have little to celebrate since the championship looks way out of reach anyway.

I'm glad I said this, otherwise the race would have been boring.
