This statistic is ridiculous. There is no competition, only 3 teams winning and one getting a 75% win rate. Ballast them
It’s even more ridiculous when you consider the amount of wins that Vettel / Ferrari have thrown away during that period, plus not forgetting that they gift wrapped two titles to Hamilton and Mercedes. Stats don’t tell the full story.
Funny statement. Nevertheless if ferrari had won a bunchr races more, we would have the same sole 3 teams winning in 5 years.
Yep, entirely right. And only a small handful of podiums for two other teams. I must have misunderstood your original point, I thought it was a pro-Ferrari thing. I got it wrong.
It was an anti f1 statement. Moreover I have been reading (with little interest) the quarrel about the new rules for 2021 and it seems little will change. The useless hybrid power unit will stay for the sake of the constructors (mercedes) and the proposal of liberty to go back to easier engines has been refused. Now Formula 1 should be a drivers’ championship not a technology competition like it’s been in the last 5 years straight. Hamilton could be the best driver ever but he won’t be able to win the championship in a current renault mclaren or even ferrari. This is the issue. They should do sonething to give more prominence to the driver factor.

While there are many here that would like that, F1 has always been a technology race. The best car with innovative technology is usually the one to win the championship.
It's just that in the past the technology race between teams has been more even or fluctuating. These days teams dominate for longer in the sport allowing multiple championship years instead of alternating.
In order to fix that it would require a clean sheet new rule book more often.

Meh. Haven't been reading stuff since "the incident."
