That would have been a wake up call for him.

Man, Alonso and Rosenqvist's crashes were pretty jarring. I hope the race won't be like this.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

Alonso's crash was pretty tame.

Rosenqvist's, however, could have been bad. A slightly different angle and he could really done a number on the tub.

Felix' crash is near identical to the one that killed Scott Brayton. Good thing there's SAFER-barriers these days.

And the strength of the Dallara tubs.

Both Felix and Alonso had multiple big hits against the walls. Considering the hit Alonso took on the inside retaining wall, his car looks in pretty decent shape. These cars are strong and safety devices are pretty incredible.

Alonso and Rosenqvist is in big truble. Slow, unsteady, and not many laps under their belt.

Alonso didn't drive at all yesterday. Felix is slow in the back-up car when looking at the no-tow speeds (217 mph yesterday). I hope the team finds the speed today.

He was probably under strict instructions not to bin another one.

As for Alonso, it seems everything McLaren get involved in, turns to shyte, I wonder what the common demonitor is?
