Bottom post of the previous page:

Dixon pits and comes out within a few seconds of Rossi who is yet to pit.

A bit of a yawner especially early on. Pity about Seb not even managing a single lap. Things got livelier after RHR brought out the yellow and a decent finish was had. Can't say I was favourably impressed with the squeezes applied by some on pass attempts on the pit straight; that's F3 driving.

Drivers know this year's oval package isn't all that great when it comes to passing so they take more risks. The final stretch was so exciting because some guys were saving fuel and didn't race at 100%.

Dixon got a break with the rained off qual, he could have started mid-pack and lose even more points than he did.

Thought the same. Enjoyed the latter part.

Going through some old photos and found some from the 2013 Pocono 500. Only used an iPhone so photos aren't too good. Here's the video of start of the race, the puff of smoke is Hinchcliffe spinning into the wall (apologies for the annoying narration, I was talking to my 4 year old son)

A reasonable race only livened up by a late race caution, due to some racing flat out and some in economy mode.

This car might look amazing, but it's a fucking shitbox for racing, you can see they're making efforts to improve things (there was some extra stuff on the front wings for this race) but it might take them a while.

I don't know. Iowa was absolutely brilliant, IMHO. But that might have been due to the nature of the track and/or other circumstances. The road courses have been good for the most part, even Mid-Ohio was great fun. I missed Indy, but that was apparently a snoozer, as was Texas.

Pocono and Phoenix were the worst races of the season. At least Gateway had a decent end.

Some of the road/street races have been fantastic. Iowa was great as well. Indy wasn't too bad. It was perfectly watchable.

Yeah I should have said the Oval package sucks, the circuit/road course one doesn't.
