Bottom post of the previous page:

I'd just love to know what it is about this race/crash that is so important.

There's some obsession with, as Paul put it, 12 year olds wanting to replicate famous events from the past in NR2003 then post it to Youtube for all to see, it seems to be a popular trend which by itself is fine if that floats your boat, but an increasing number of people want other people to do the work for them, which is why Matt tends to have less amount of patience with them than people who actually put the effort in themselves to achieve their goal.

Quiet why someone would think they'd get it done by members of a racing forum when they've already been banned from a dedicated NR2003 forum is beyond me.

No it's a genuine fad, about as popular as watching other people play video games on livestream/YouTube is with a certain generation.

Us lot from the Born Grumpy generation "don't understand" according to my son.

Well a lot of it you have to have a mental age of 13 to enjoy. It's immature, but mature enough that it has lots of swearing and stuff.

Then again, I watch the odd sim racing vid but that stuff (with the exception of a few higher profile people who base themselves around drifting on Forza ) generally has pretty mature commentating styles and is done by people who know their shit as far as cars are concerned.

It's impossible for me to understand why people would replicate and prefer to watch an inaccurate computer version of real life. Why not just watch the real thing?

Im with you there. I hate it when you see a headline in youtube that seems interesting and find it to be some poxy low quality game footage that they try to pass off as 'real' or no reference to it being games footage. I am happy to watch game footage if I know in advance it is game footage..

what controls do you use to play NR2003? (keyboard, joystick, wheel, mouse,...)

I use a simple Thrustmaster Joystick, but perhaps I should consider a wheel?

and what difficulty do you use to have good AI?

oh, and how can you take screenshots?

sorry for all the questions  thanks for all the answers :twothumbs:

G25 and custom built pedals, I never race AI, only online because good AI are hard to come by, try some of the PST or SDT tracks if you want decent AI but most of those tracks are short tracks.

Print screen button for screenshots, then paste into art program, there is a way to do it in game but I cannot remember how you do it, I'm sur Google will know.
