Somewhat fine-tuned since testing. Looks like Dorna has to rewrite the rulebook again for 2018. Ducati stated that they have problems mid-corner, but fine on entry and exit. If they get this sorted they might be able to compete at "Non-Ducati"-tracks. That would be great for the championship battle.

Sort of relevant to this thread but we have here in Oz a series on MotoGP weekends called Classic MotoGP Races..... I have just watched the 2003 MotoGP class race from Brno and what a corker it was. Honestly one of the best races I have seen. I quickly tried to find it on youtube to post here but all I could find was an amateur short highlights of all classes which is rank. It truly was a classic race and I recommend anyone to try and find a copy of it to watch. Lead swapping all race including the last lap and half a second covered the top 3.

Haha yes, I seem to remember it. And also how tough it is to find full races from 15 to 20 years ago. Took me some time to find the 250cc race at Donington from 2000.

Slow race by Moto3-standards in difficult conditions, but Mir ran a tactically astute race. Looking more and more like a worthy champion.

The six lap sprint race to end the Moto2 was great. Luthi was masterful after the restart.
And how awesome it was to see a Roberts and a Gardner battling it out.

Commentators went from bagging out Marquez to hailing him within about 2 minutes.

It s a matter of strategy. He started with a clear route to follow. Rossi and the others went on improvisation. Rossi had to do 1 lap to get the pit in signal and another to reach the pit back

No it s not. Marquez said he used the rear soft not for strategy but cause he had no feeling with the hard. Big luck

The same lame story. Seriously, what was Rossi, Dovi and Zarco thinking? If someone had started the race on slicks that would've been the masterstroke.

That was utterly puzzling. Why oh why did those riders stay out for those 1-2 laps when the track was clearly dry enough for slicks. Another race that Honda and Marquez won on a clearly superior strategy and another race where everyone else will scratch their heads because they lost due to illogical reasoning.

Because they have minimal race tactical view despite being great fighters. Lorenzo is claiming that Ducati didn't have his second bike ready in time for the change, and that the setup on that bike wasn't that good.
I feel sorry for Scott Redding. Came out of the bike changes in 2nd place and finished the race in 16th. What does he have to do to catch a break in 2017?
