Heinkel / Trojan 3 wheeler's (although I see a couple of Messerschmitts in the mix. I believe the Heinkel / Trojans were made under licence in Argentina for a while, and suspect this may have been some local crazy series.

As an aside, yes, the Trojan name is the same organisation that went on from 3 wheeler production (under ownership of Peter Agg) to ultimately own Elva cars, making race cars for McLaren and also under their own name in F5000 and F1.

The Intergalactic Championship Match Race between a team of Klingons and Martians. The race was won in a surprise finish by a team of Morlocks, who had captured a time machine and inserted themselves short of the finish line. A subsequent protest by the Martians was disallowed because their protest fee was deposited in an obsolete currency.

Same thing really, as the basic car was Italian designed and manufactured under license by different companies in different markets and often branded accordingly.

It seems an insult to have a Mini Moke in an International 12 hour race competing against a Ferrari 250LM, but there you go.

The Moke was entered by Barry Seton/Charlie Smith as a Morris Sports in the 1966 Rothmans 12 Hour International Sports Car Race at Surfers Paradise. Jackie Stewart/Andy Buchanan won the race in the #3 Ferrari shown passing the Moke.

This is insane, I really wander if this influenced the car in a good way somehow. Was this just a 1 time tryout?
