I have found this to be true in most forms of racing.. That is until you become too much competition, then help will dry up. :haha:
Facts, man. I don't see myself being a frontrunner for a while, this is a huge jump from a kart. But hey, I'm glad people are still hooking me up. Getting a new cylinder head on the 270 as I type. Gonna try and get everything right by the 8th.

In other news, might be getting a root canal tomorrow. Hooray.

Best of luck to be sure. :twothumbs:

Day went pretty well, but could've been better. My fastest lap was a 16.116 in hotlaps, but I had pulled off early in the feature due to a suspected fuel pump or jetting issue. I could get it up to full song in 3rd gear, but it sputtered immediately in 4th. So I didn't want to hurt the car (or anyone else) so I pulled off with a P6 finish.

Tonight, we dine in hell!

I hope you don't actually end up dining in hell tonight, haha.

Go get 'em!

I sure hope not either haha, but I thought it would be fitting to describe how I feel about today with my favorite movie quote. I'll sure try to come back after the low-blow at the season opener!

On a funnier note, I realized that if the same people that started the 270 season opener are the only people to start today's race (minus one guy that came down from up north) then the car numbers will range between only 3 and 18. That's gotta be the worst variety of car numbers I've seen.

Finished 3rd out of 5. One of em rolled and one of em lost a chain.

I was lapped about 3-4 times throughout the course of the race but I ran the whole shebang. Hell of a night.

Thanks! The race was a thrill ride but I was running too rich (my qualifying lap was a 16.395). I was pretty up-close and personal with the rollover at the start but in the end I enjoyed every bit of it.

 Would it be an idea to create your own topic about this?
