Here is the full set of guesses for this round:

Code: Select all

Guess	Player
1:17.555	KaiStar
1:18.819	Kals
1:19.230	John
1:19.652	Ian-S
1:19.787	Picci
1:19.888	Megallos
1:19.950	xcraigx
1:19.999	TomDA
1:20.120	MonteCristo
1:20.123	Mawerick
1:20.996	Minardi
1:21.400	PTracer
If we use the current points system, almost everyone scores. If we use the proposed point system, only 1/2 the field scores. I'm starting the lean toward the revised points (as we will lose 1/2 the field by the end of the year).

I have not posted full results because I am still making up my mind.

I'd say go with the revised points system, as we'll no doubt have rounds where we might be down to 7-8 guesses at some point during the season.

It's a great points system, I tell you. Absolutely fantastic. The crooked points system has to go. 10-6-4-3-2-1 is THE best points system ever.

Just as an FYI, I have changed the points system to 10-6-4-3-2-1. I was the deciding vote on the poll to keep the points, but after seeing the limited number of players, we will be better off with a smaller points system. The 10 point bonus remains for an exact time guess. I will post results for Australia in later tonight (US time).

This week's winner is PTRacer with a time 0.788 seconds away from Lewis Hamilton's pole time of 1:22.188! Great job on the first guess of the year & with major rule changes!!

Here are the rest of the times with the points payout:

Code: Select all

Pts	Error	Guess	Player
10	00.788	1:21.400	PTracer
6	01.192	1:20.996	Minardi
4	02.065	1:20.123	Mawerick
3	02.068	1:20.120	MonteCristo
2	02.189	1:19.999	TomDA
1	02.238	1:19.950	xcraigx
0	02.300	1:19.888	Megallos
0	02.401	1:19.787	Picci
0	02.536	1:19.652	Ian-S
0	02.958	1:19.230	John
0	03.369	1:18.819	Kals
0	04.633	1:17.555	KaiStar

As you may have noticed, I have altered the points payout this year to reflect the limited number of players. Less score means that we need to get working a bit harder to make it into the points each event.

The Accuracy and Points championship is the same as the leaderboard above.

Thanks for playing this week and see if you can recruit a few new players!
