A Very Belated "Hello"

#1

Post by Kuckoo »

So, "Hello"

Lurked in the forum for a while now. DL'ed a couple of videos, and got some wonderful 1960's GP videos mailed to me a long while back, the 65 Monaco and 66 Reims events.

Never properly introduced myself in all that time...

Old-school F1 fan. Remember getting up at 3am many times during the 1990s to catch live races on ESPN and Speed. Taped most of them, but they were all lost during a mishap in storage.

Bigger fan of the 1950s and 1960s era, though.

Difficult to be interested in today's F1. For me, the disfiguring of the Peraltada in Mexico, among many other things, represents everything wrong with the sport today...

G'day! Not a lot going right with motorsport in general these days. WEC tries, but yeah...

And a belated welcome to you too

The Peraltada was arguably disfigured a long time ago (just after F1 last raced in Mexico), but I understand the sentiment.

I need to switch my office light on when typing as well. At least then I can see what I am doing. I am not a typist and have to look at the keyboard when typing.
