New on the forum. Hi!
Hi, I'm a motorsport fan, but my very start was with Formula 1 in my childhood.
I'm a kind of "globettroter", but on a virtual manner.
Currently, don't have a proper F1 driver or team to follow, but I have a gear to keep close to Lewis Hamilton fans,
since one of the owner of an ice cream parlor of my neighborhood, has an agreement to give me a free
ice cream when Lewis wins a race. My country is known to have excellent quality ice cream shops...
I'm following the trace of future stars on minor formula, and that's why I understand F1 is only the top,
but also other formula should be taken in count. Like MotoGP followers do with Moto2, Moto3... I do it
with GP2 / FV8 3.5 / F3 / Formula E / GP3 / and even F4.
Well, hope to have a nice stay here in the forum...
Greetings from the Parana river.

The deal started on 2013. At first, it was regarding each Merc win, but after first Rosberg wins, it turned to Hamilton only.PTRACER wrote:How long have you had that deal for? 27 wins for Hamilton since 2014...that's a lot of ice cream
Yeah, it was a lot of ice cream, in fact about a pound of ice cream (about 450 grams) in a vase, each win.
And one liter of ice cream in case Lewis wins the championship.
That works because I'm an old regular of that old ice cream parlor, and they have here the factory that produces a lot of flavours of quality ice cream, that is sold and distributed in the county where I live.

My childhood hero was Nigel Mansell but,MonteCristo wrote:G'day!

Who is your favourite driver ever?
since I'm Argentinian, since teenage years I'm rooting about my locals.
My current fav is Jose Maria Lopez, but of the historic ones,
my "rolemodel" is Jose Froilan Gonzalez, because he
suits well with my personality as how he behaved in his life, AFAIK.
I have a good friend in my country who is a strong supporter of current Australian drivers:
first supported Webber, and now Ricciardo, and she's fond of V8 Supercars, and misses the possibility
to see the series on our local cable TV, since the races aren't shown here as were before.
I have some likability about Australia in the mood it has it's "local world" as we have ours of our own in Argentina: also a strong motorsport fanbase, from the garages to the great teams, and even, the local automotive industry, that in our case is linked to Brazilian auto industry.

Our auto industry is officially circling the drain. Last locally manufactured cars are being made this year, then it's all imported .
