That must be the original circuit from when it first was used. It looks super fast, with super long straights and flat out max rev areas that would lead to a high risk of mechanical failure. Particularly with the older (two-stroke) bikes which would be doing their best to seize up and self destruct I would imagine.
Not having seen any footage of the track previously (not that I can remember) I was surprised at the number of trees bordering the track that were the first thing one would hit, with the lack of barriers to protect in particular the bike riders . It is also quite narrow in parts. I just clicked on one of the links to similar clips at youtube and it gave a look at the track back in the period and highlights of a post war TT bike race. Quite a few parts of the track were very recognisable between the rFactor 'reproduction' / sim and the original period clip.
Some good work Erwin.

I have a video of the race in 1954. This video contains a lot of footage of the original track, which was in fact the second layout of the Circuit van Drenthe. The first TT (1925) was held only once on the Rolde - Borger - Schoonloo - Grolloo - Rolde layout.
Will upload this one.
