Not a daft racer's name but I once did a club FF race with my entrant named as 'DRAG Racing'. Typically, amateurs just leave this field blank on the entry form but in a light-hearted moment, I decided to borrow from a sketch of Monty Python. I was resident in the county Durham of the province of Ontario at the time and under 'DRAG Racing' on the form, I spelled out the full meaning in brackets...

Durham Region Amateur Gynecologists

In the results mailed out subsequently, I was listed as being entered by DRAG Racing. :)

Come to think of it, I borrowed again one time from the Pythons as I entered under the name of Bert Fegg's Nasty Racers. That made the results in full. Double :)

Many many moons ago a few of us started entering races under the llauoykcuf racing banner, saying it was a Welsh engine company.

Read it backwards, took them a good six months to realise...
I am very sorry if you find my posts long and boring, I like to type and often go off on a tangent.
If this is the case, you may click here to solve the problem, or alternatively here too.

So apparently there's a sportscar driver entered in a LMP2 car at Le Mans later this year called Chris Cumming...

Now that has to be one of the most unfortunate last names I have ever heard.

At least he never was able to team up with Dick Seaman. Commentators would have sniggered at having to refer to the Cumming Seaman entry.... :whistling:

Just came across the name of a riding mechanic from the '32 Indy 500: Horace Booty.

(Booty for some stupid reason seems to be slang at the moment, with the same meaning as arse.)

Talking of funny team names, I was just watching the 24 hours of Barcelona and noticed that the name of the championship leading team is "BONK Motorsport". :haha:

There is also an individual driver from Taiwan by the name of 'Johnson Hung'. :dunno:
