I have literally just watched the doco 'Behind the Wall' on TV. Some good concert footage in that. They mentioned the 'spin offs' if that is the rightway to describe the likes of what you are going to.

The Wall is on TV later tonight..... Seen it a few times but will no doubt watch again.

When I saw the sudden run of Floyd stuff back to back on TV I automatically jumped to the thought of "No, who (has died) now?".

Can imagine that. Few years ago it was definetely a blow hearing Rick had died.

But that is how it is. A lot of band members of the 60/70s bands are now old lads/lassies. Like Donna Summer died this week.

Although Trond Bråthen from Urgehal died this week, only 34 years young.

Yes, Thursday I think. A shame. A real legend. She had some form of cancer and kept it secret (to the outside world). Apparantly she blamed her plight on toxic dust which spread across NYC following the attacks on 9/11.

I'm so fucking impulsive. I just booked tickets to go to the Gods Of Metal festival in Milan. Like, in 5 days time.

Who's there? Axl's Guns 'n' Roses, Slash's band, Motley Crue, Hardcore Superstar, The Darkness, Black Stone Cherry, Ugly Joe Kid, Rival Sons, Sebastian Bach and Gotthard. All playing full sets. Fucking FUCKING amazing.
