King Crimson: Easy Money. They had this weird percussionist, buggered if I can remember his name, on this album (Larks' Tongues in Aspic), and there are lots of pretty strange sound effects, enhanced by the eerie mellotron.
EDIT: Jamie Muir. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larks'_Tongues_in_Aspic http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamie_Muir It really worked out great that one time.END EDIT.

Its not the song itself (Nightcrawler cover) but the whole performance......
The Inner City Unit (around ex Hawkwind Member Nik Turner)

Haha, yeah, that's a great one. Sounds like something Dan Lilker brought over from the S.O.D. days.caneparo wrote:the song aint bad at all

David Bowie: Ashes to Ashes.
The Cure: Lullaby.
Always thought those two very pretty weird.

The Chips: Rubber Biscuit. A bit of doo-wop nonsense, with the odd rude word or two. Funny song.

Pink Floyd: Jugband Blues. Syd's ironic farewell to the music industry. Features The Salvation Army, and I ain't shitting you.

Mike Oldfield: Sailor's Hornpipe. Hilarious spoof commentary version, from the bonus track off the BOXED collection of his ingenious 70s instrumental shite.
